CITY WIDE SERVICE ENJOYED BY MANY

Musicians from many of the churches combined for the first time to provide inspirational music to lead the singing and praise for the city-wide worship service held at St. Martin's Lutheran College worship centre on Sunday evening, 31st of May.

There was a focus on the Christian Pastoral Workers of the city and surrounding state schools, an offering taken up to support this vital ministry, and two of the workers sharing a testimony of what they are doing and their thoughts on the God-given opportunities to share the
gospel in our state schools.

Approximately 200 or more folk filled the Gmn where special heaters kept everyone warm and comfortable. A combined churches worship band lead a time of magnificant soaring worship enjoyed by all. An impressive combination of guitarists, keyboards, electric violinist, saxaphones, flute, clarinet, drums and vocals was greatly appreciated. Apparently this band will continue playing togther to form a combined churches worship band.

Combined city band

Graeme Enwright from CRC Adelaide gave an encouraging message on not missing the moment. Reminding us all that there are things we can do to draw God's eye and attention. 2 Chron 16:7-9.

A great night of worship & God's blessings coming to the Christians of the city. The next one is due for Sunday August 30th, so keep an eye & ear open on 1049 for what will be happening at the next city-wide worship service.
