How You Can Help Rhema FM Live

There are many ways youcan be a part of keeping teh Cogs turning at 104.9 so why not consider which way best suits you. We need a wide variety of people to fill the many roles that make up the team that keep the station on air. We are a volunteer based organisation and its only thanks to our volunteers that this station keep on turning out the music and programing that it does. 1. RHEMA FM LIVE VOLUNTEERS

Rhema FM 104.9 and Ontrack Music Books and gifts, Mt Gambier is an interdenominational ministry that is staffed by volunteers for nearly all of the many and varied roles required to produce the medium of a Christian Radio Station and Bookshop.

2. PARTNERSHIPS:

100 Club Partnerships
Join us by pledging $100 or more per month - Gold Partnership.
We are looking for 100 people to pledge $100 per month in partnership.
Individuals, groups, churches, families or organisations.

Pledge Choice Partnership
Join us by pledging $10- 50 per month - Bronze partnership.
Join us by pledging $50-100 per month - Silver partnership.

One for One “There is a great local flavour to community radio, and you are bound to hear something you won’t hear anywhere else on Australian radio,” said Deborah Welch, President of the Community Broadcasting Authority of Australia (CBAA)


$1 per day Pledge Partnership:
$365 in a year or $30 per month.

3. DO YOU WANNA HAVE A GO AT BEING A RADIO DJ? Why people lsiten to community radio                                 -Specialist music programs (55%)  -Local information and news (53%)                                    -They play Australian music and support local artists                     -The announcers sound liek ordinary people (43%)               

We have a number of great program ideas and slots for which we are looking for new presenters including:
Two drive time shows (Tues and Friday 5-6pm);
Two breakie shows (Tues and Thurs 6-8am);
A presenter for our country breaks (1-2pm Mon Wed and Fri)
Saturday Siesta (2-5pm)
and a program of testimonies on healing and God's work in the lives of local people.

If you have the gift of the gab, an interest in people and their lives, and are well spoken then we can teach you how to become a Rhema FM Live radio announcer.

4. BECOME A CHURCH CONTACT

We need folk to help promote RhemaFMLive & Christian Resources in our local Churches. We are looking for new church contacts in all the areas now included in our broadcast reach so if you know people in Naracoorte, Millicent, Lucindale, Glencoe, Casterton, etc who would be useful church contacts please let us know about them and tell them about us-we'll be in their areas very, very soon!! We would also like to list their/your churches on our website's local churches directory, promote their church activities and events on the website and on our FREE daily community announcements segment in the Breakfast shows.

WHAT IS A CHURCH CONTACT?
Church Contacts are Rhema FM Supporters, promoting the programs and activities on Rhema FM, and encouraging your Church to listen to the region's only Christian station. We hope you will also be able to encourage your Church, its members and friends to become financial members as membership supports the ongoing work of 104.9 Rhema FMlive. As a Church contact you will receive regular emails informing you of program changes, activities and important news to share with your local church, either through your church paper, posters, or word of mouth.

WHAT DOES A CHURCH CONTACT DO?
We're looking for Rhema listeners who are enthusiastic about the station and who will help us to:

  1. Increase our listening audience
  2. Provide feedback from Churches to Rhema Fm
  3. Involve Church members in Rhema FM activities
  4. Increase our financial membership base

As a Rhema FM contact you will seek to inform your Church about the programs and activities of Rhema FM, encouraging them to listen to the region's only Christian station. We also ask you to provide feedback on the station's services. As you encourage your Church, its members and friends to become financial members of Rhema FM to help support the ongoing work of the station.

WHO CAN BE A CHURCH CONTACT?
Are a committed Christian of at least 1 year and a regular attendant of a Christian church for at least 6 months, and are prepared to be a financial member of Rhema FM ( See bookshop for pricing structure) and willing to attend our weekly Tuesday lunch or Wednesday morning prayer meetings and a quarterly Contacts meeting. Are you willing to commit to regularly communicating with the Station to receive information on the stations events needs etc and also to send information on church events etc for our community events segments and be willing to abide by the decisions and policies set down by the Management and Board of South East Christian Broadcasters for RHEMA FM and ONTRACK.
