Window on the World
Take a journey with us each Sunday morning to places still hostile to Christians
Visit the countries of concern
and hear of draconian laws that target our fellow believers for their faith; where the stories of modern Martyrs will both horrify and inspire you. Unbelievably right now in the world many of our brothers and sisters face imprisonment, beatings and even death for simply believing what you and I believe - that Jesus is Lord.
Hear testimonies of faithful workers ministering around the world for the sake of our Lord and find out about which areas we have influence in thru missionaries and mission projects support from local churches in our region. Find out what you can do to support these workers and our persecuted brother's and sisters around the world.
Latest Update - 6th March 2006
Hi to the "Friends of Mbatwe"
![]()
A much happier
teacher!Thought you might like to see the progress on this project.
Pastor Adriano has demonstrated his incredible ability to run a school of around 500 children, supervise the teaching program, orientate two more new teachers from the Education Dept, grapple with the challenge of his computer classes, run a thriving village church as well as oversee the building project... and still keeps a smile on his face.
We were able to purchase some cheap sheeting for the roof of the church/auxiliary school building as well as for the class room. ![]()
Happier children
This was essential since a heavy down-pour washed the classroom out last week.
Pastor Adriano has been able to employ some men from the community who are key supporters of families so this has been a great help.
The major project ahead now is the construction of a small three-room house on the property. The major task will be making the almost 2000 concrete blocks. All the tools are now available including block moulds, wheel-barrow, shovels, hammers etc. The footings for the house will be dug soon once there are sufficient blocks to begin.

Aux building
The house will be 8m x 5m with the possibility of extending a 3m veranda at the front that could house a small office for Adriano and kitchen depending on how far we can stretch the finances.
Thanks you so much for assisting in this vital project for Mbatwe.
God bless,
Laine
