Take an exciting and informative journey with us each Sunday morning at 8am, see the world through different eyes, get a Kingdom Perspective and walk in the shoes of other believers and overseas missionarys. Discover a new passion for those Jesus loves all over the World and right here in Australia. Be amazed by all that our miracle working God has done and is doing across the Globe. Get ignited and excited by the call to the Great commission and be part of seeing His Kingdom come on Earth.

One day we are all going to stand before the Lord and He will ask us what we did for the hungry, oppressed, neglected, exploited and hurting people and children of our world, both in our own neighbourhood and across the world to the ends of the earth.
This programme is designed to highlight the needs of those God’s loves across the world and the ways people are helping, can help and should pray. Its designed to take listeners on a journey to other lands, let them take a few steps in other shoes and hear the stories of ordinary individuals who are answering the same great commission that God has given to them, and through the weeks to impart a spirit for and desire to be Kingdom Builders in our own neighbourhoods and reaching across the miles to stand with others for his name sake.
Visit the countries of concern and hear of draconian laws that target our fellow believers for their faith; where the stories of modern Martyrs will both horrify and inspire you. Unbelievably right now in the world many of our brothers and sisters face imprisonment, beatings and even death for simply believing what you and I believe - that Jesus is Lord.
Hear testimonies of faithful workers ministering around the world for the sake of our Lord and find out about which areas we have influence in thru missionaries and mission projects support from local churches in our region. Find out what you can do to support these workers and our persecuted brother's and sisters around the world.

PRAY FOR ZIMBABWE
18 October - Worldwide Day of Prayer for Zimbabwe
The focus of the World Day of Prayer for Zimbabwe Oct. 18, 2008 is the salvation of President Robert Mugabe. The founders of this movement and the “Holy Hands for Mugabe” postcard-writing campaign believe their assignment is to call others to pray that President Mugabe be drawn to the Lord. You may feel led to pray for God to bless Zimbabwe in others ways. Please pray as you are led.
Mark your calendar TODAY for the Worldwide Day of Prayer for Zimbabwe. - October 18th, 2008 Details are here.
President Robert Mugabe is roundly blamed for these problems, yet he clings to power and stubbornly denies that his policies are the source of his nation’s troubles. Why should we pray for such a leader? Isn’t he a despot and a thug responsible for the deaths of many and the economic ruin of a once prosperous land? How do we overcome our visceral reaction of disgust and condemnation?
Scripture calls us to not only pray for “kings and all those in authority,” (1 Tim 2:2), but also to pray “lifting up holy hands, without wrath and dissension” (verse 8). In truth, it is very hard for us to deny our fleshly response of revulsion. That’s why we must surrender ourselves to the Holy Spirit in prayer, confessing, “Lord, I can’t do this, but You can. Cleanse me of unrighteousness. Give me holy hands free of wrath and dissension.”
World leaders, including those from Africa, condemn President Mugabe. Zimbabwe is subject to economic sanctions and Pres. Mugabe faces heavy pressure to sign a power-sharing agreement with his leading political opponent. He has responded to these attacks and pressure with defiance, denying the claims of his critics while blaming the West, particularly Britain.
None of the world’s approaches to President Mugabe are made with holy hands, free of wrath and dissension. Is it possible that he would respond differently to God’s approach?

Victorian Abortion Debate Abortion has a new adversary in Costello The Australian Angela Shanahan | September 06, 2008
RARELY does any federal politician, let alone one who has been touted as a small-l liberal, denounce a liberal abortion bill being pushed in a state parliament, particularly one in his own state and backed by elements of both parties.
Despite his obviously conventional family background with its conservative credentials, Peter Costello has often been called a liberal on social issues. But Costello's reaction is outrage when I ask him this week about the government proposals before the Victorian parliament to legalise abortion formally and for up to 24 weeks into pregnancy or, as some Greens favour, up to the full term.
"I can't believe that there is a proposal to make abortion legal as a matter of course up to 24 weeks, when babies are born at less than 24 weeks. We will have a situation in this country when in one part of a hospital babies will be in humidicribs being kept alive and in some other part it will be legal to be aborting them," the Liberal Party's former deputy leader and former federal treasurer says...

Meet abortion survivor Gianna Jessen and hear her remarkable story which is powerful and challenging. She is now 31, but was meant to be burned alive by a saline abortion. The abortion failed and she is alive to present a dynamic message of God’s grace and of the pro-life cause. Every person who is interested in this issue should be aware of her moving story. Medicare funding and abortion: Submission, Petition
Referred to Senate’s Finance and Public Administration Committee Inquiry
Senator Guy Barnett’s motion to stop Medicare funding of second trimester and late term abortions was due to be debated today - 17 September 2008.
On 15 September, the Government and Opposition agreed to refer it to the Senate’s Finance and Public Administration Committee - to conduct an Inquiry and report on 13 November 2008.
Submissions close on 2 October.
Senator Barnett has welcomed this referral “because it provides an opportunity to study the details, and get more facts on the table, such as the number of babies actually born alive and then simply left to die, as part of the abortion procedure.”
You mean – babies are born alive after abortions and left to die? YES. In Victoria, for example, the perinatal data (deaths of babies over 20 weeks gestation, INCLUDING abortions) are recorded.
In 2005, there were 309 abortions at 20 weeks or more. Of these 129 were for ‘congenital abnormality’ in the baby and the remaining 180 abortions were done for psychosocial reasons.
The 2005 Report shows that 47 of those babies were born alive following 'terminations' or abortions and died afterwards (classed as neonatal deaths) - 45 for congenital abnormalities and 2 for psychosocial reasons.
The Victorian data and reports are posted on the Health Dept website – click here.
The Inquiry: The terms of reference are:
(a) Item 16525 of Part 3 of Schedule 1 to the Health Insurance (General Medical Services Table) Regulations 2007;
(b) The number of services receiving payment under this item and the cost of these payments;
(c) The basis upon which payments of benefits are made under this item;
(d) The effects of disallowing this item.

Over 6400 Australians ask Prime Minister to drop same-sex bills
Family Voice Australia
An open letter to Prime Minister Kevin Rudd, signed by over 6400 Australians and asking him
to drop bills that would give same-sex relationships equal status to marriage, was delivered to him today at Parliament House.
Copies of the letter were also given to all MPs and senators by supporters of FamilyVoice Australia, a national Christian group speaking for family values.
FamilyVoice spokesman Richard Egan said: “Many Australians are very concerned that the Rudd government is pushing ahead with bills that would undermine the status of marriage by changing about 70 Commonwealth laws to give equal status to same-sex relationships.
“The bills would also introduce a new concept of the child as ‘a product’ of a same-sex relationship, including children procured through artificial insemination, donor IVF or surrogacy.”

Send a Message to Mugabe
Hopes are slipping away for a deal to resolve Zimbabwe's political crisis. Yesterday, Robert Mugabe announced plans to ignore the ongoing negotiations with the opposition MDC party, form a sham "Government of National Unity" with a breakaway opposition faction, and open parliament next week.
